On Thursday, November 5, 2026, Indonesia’s Investment and Downstreaming Ministry announced that it had secured investment commitments totaling approximately Rp6.3 trillion (US$385 million) at the Indonesia Investment Forum 2026 held in London, United Kingdom, through the signing and submission of three strategic agreements.

The agreements involve a tin‑processing investment by Titanium Capital amounting to Rp4.16 trillion (US$252 million), an AI‑driven data‑centre by Axelera at the Industropolis Batang Special Economic Zone valued at Rp1.01 trillion (US$56 million), and an industrial‑assembly plant by BlackInk Co‑Operation Limited valued at Rp1.39 trillion (US$77 million).

The event, themed “Fostering Resilient Investment Through a Robust Supply Chain,” drew about 100 delegates from industry, banking and government sectors. It featured C‑suite dialogues between the Investment and Downstreaming Ministry, the Finance Ministry and Bank Indonesia, and business‑matching sessions for projects presented by Danantara Indonesia, special economic zones and state‑owned enterprises.

"When deciding to invest, I always emphasize that investors dislike uncertainty. They seek certainty, predictability and a credible process," said Rosan P. Roeslani, Indonesia’s Investment and Downstreaming Minister.

Roeslani added in a statement that the government remains dedicated to maintaining a stable regulatory environment to attract global capital, noting that Indonesia consistently improves its competitiveness in attracting foreign investment.

These commitments, announced by the ministry’s spokesperson, meet the forum’s goal of boosting domestic industrial capacity and demonstrate Indonesia’s growing appeal to international investors.
