Ukraine’s Air Force said on Sunday that its public air‑raid alert app had been hacked, temporarily displaying a false nuclear warning for Kyiv and other areas before the anomaly disappeared.

According to a statement posted on Telegram, the app was "subjected to enemy influence," the Air Force said, and there was “no radiation threat.” The operator urged civilians to stay calm and check official channels for updates.

The brief incident, reported by Reuters from sources in Kyiv, occurred late on Sunday, 1 November 2026, and was corrected within minutes. Although the service was briefly misleading, no physical danger was reported.
