China successfully launched a Seri‑2W3 rocket from the Jiuzhaigou Launch Center in northwest China on November 7, 2026, deploying four satellites into a 535‑kilometer orbit, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The launch fire‑off was timed at 7:37 a.m. Beijing time, and the payload, carrying a mix of experimental and research craft, exited the atmosphere successfully.

The four satellites in the payload included the experimental satellite “Gwanlan,” the ocean‑monitoring craft Youniao‑1 No. 28, the university‑derived Chongpu University Satellite 1, and the research satellite Juntian‑1 No. 06A.

Saudi Press Agency said the mission’s goal was to expand China’s capabilities in ocean monitoring, meteorology, scientific research, and space‑technology testing, and that the satellites would occupy identical orbits at about 535 km altitude.
