In brief

A Wizz Air Airbus A321 en route from Milan to Warsaw was forced to land in Vienna following a vague email threat. Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung reported the incident, while Anadolu Ajansı and Die Presse noted a separate bomb threat that had targeted multiple flights at Vienna Airport, including the Wizz Air service.

An Airbus A321 operated by Hungarian airline Wizz Air stopped mid‑flight and made an unscheduled landing at Vienna Airport on Thursday after receiving an e‑mail threat, Xinhua reported.

The e‑mail contained a vague threat, and the decision to divert was announced by Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung, which said the flight was originally traveling from Milan to Warsaw.

In a separate report, Anadolu Ajansı described a bomb threat that had been issued against four flights at Vienna Airport, noting that the Wizz Air service was among the affected departures.

Die Presse echoed the same information, stating that the same Wizz Air flight had to perform an emergency stop‑over in Vienna following the threat received via e‑mail.
