In brief
On Nov. 6, Danish police reopened investigations at Copenhagen Airport after receiving a new email threat that targeted two planes. The threat followed a similar warning the previous day, but bomb disposal specialists found no suspicious material, and authorities confirmed that passengers were not in danger. Police say they are monitoring the case for possible links to similar incidents across Europe.
On Friday, Nov. 6, Danish police returned to Copenhagen Airport to investigate a fresh email threat that targeted two aircraft, after a similar warning had been received the day before.
Earlier Thursday, an email sent directly to the airport had singled out two planes. Military bomb‑disposal specialists searched each aircraft and found no suspicious material, and the Copenhagen police said at that time the passengers and other airport visitors had not been in danger.
The police statement noted that, while the new threat appeared to be a separate incident, it was too early to say whether it was linked to the wave of similar warnings that have affected flights across Europe. The investigation continues, and the case is being monitored for any possible connections to other threats.
