The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has carried on its economic empowerment program in Deir Al‑Balah, Gaza Strip, as of 7 November 2026, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
SPA reports that the program, run in partnership with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, is aimed at 1,000 individuals identified as the most vulnerable, explicitly including persons with disabilities.
Beneficiaries receive digital vocational training designed to help them earn livelihoods amid the harsh conditions of displacement and an ongoing crisis in the region.
Those who have completed the training say it has increased their self‑reliance and skill levels, and that the psychological support accompanying the courses has helped them cope with living in tents.
Participants also noted that the training gives them the tools to launch their own businesses and sustain their families, turning temporary aid into a lasting source of income that preserves dignity.
Many respondents expressed gratitude toward the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, and KSrelief for the humanitarian projects, stating that the support has restored hope at a very difficult time.
