On 31 October 2026, Israeli settlers and forces carried out violent attacks on olive farmers and their lands across five West Bank governorates, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.
In the Hebron governorate, five Palestinians were injured when settlers assaulted farmers during olive harvesting in the Tal Romaina neighbourhood. Israeli forces also struck homes in Daniel Baha, firing and detonating explosives from a distance. A young man from Wadi al‑Karm in Hebron was arrested.
In Ramallah and Beersheba, Palestinian civilians suffered suffocation when Israeli forces launched tear gas shells at houses in Kfar Malik, declaring the area a sealed military zone. The agency reported arrests of Palestinians and a foreign supporter, while settlers fired live rounds at homes in the Migher village, broke olive trees near Birka, stole crops in Der Diban, and forced farmers in Selawad and Termhasia to abandon their fields.
In Nablus, a farmer was shot by settlers in the Masouda area during an olive‑harvest assault that also involved crop theft. Israeli forces also struck farmers in the eastern Al‑Baneh village, causing over thirty Palestinians to flee their land.
Bethlehem was also hit; Israeli forces attacked olive growers and foreign supporters in Abunajim village, threatening them with guns and making them leave. Three farmers were arrested, and dozens of supporters were detained and led to nearby settlement outposts.
In Jenin and surrounding areas, the agency noted that Israeli forces evacuated farmers in villages such as Ba't den and Byita, blocked access in Salem in the Asira area, and forced farmers outside of their fields in another village. They also logged a farmhand transported to hospital after being beaten by settlers in the Wadat area north of Broqin, with damage reported to farmers’ vehicles.
