Israeli forces on Friday demolished the homes of Hamoudeh and Ahmed al‑Jaabari in Hebron, after the Palestinian men were accused of killing two Israeli soldiers in an October 23 attack in the Farsh al-Hawa area. Xinhua reported the demolitions and that the men were killed by Israeli forces.

The operation, now in its eighth day, has displaced hundreds of families in the southern West Bank. The Hebron Governorate Emergency Committee said 537 families, comprising 3,361 people, have been displaced from the al‑Jilda and Deir Baha neighborhoods since the operation began.

Israeli forces deployed reinforcements to the Deir Baha area, where engineering units raided the al‑Jaabari home and carried out demolition work, forcing more families to leave, according to Palestinian security sources.

The Israeli military issued a statement saying it would "continue to operate proactively and offensively" to thwart attacks in the West Bank and "protect residents in the area."

Anadolu reported that 4,969 Palestinians have been displaced from Hebron, in addition to the 3,361 people displaced through the municipal figure cited by Xinhua.
