In brief
On Nov. 4, 2026, a Ukrainian drone hit Ozon’s 10,000‑sq‑m logistics centre in Adygeysk, sparking a fire but causing no injuries. The company evacuated staff, removed products, cancelled orders that could not be fulfilled and temporarily halted deliveries, while Russia’s Defence Ministry reported shooting down 709 drones overnight. The attack is part of a broader campaign targeting Ozon and Wildberries hubs across Russia.
On the night of Nov. 4, 2026, a Ukrainian drone struck Ozon’s logistics centre in Adygeysk, southern Russia, igniting a large fire that spread across the 10,000‑square‑metre hub, but caused no injuries.
According to Ozon’s press release the company immediately evacuated all employees and said:
“our logistics centre in the Adygea Republic was attacked by a drone,”
and that the roof had collapsed, as reported by Ukrinform.
Ozon removed the products stored in the warehouse from its online catalogue, will cancel orders that can no longer be fulfilled, has temporarily suspended acceptance of deliveries from sellers at the centre and is redirecting shipments already sent to other hubs, the company said.
The damaged hub was one of Ozon’s largest distribution hubs, covering about 10,000 square metres, and handled a substantial volume of shipments daily, and the incident underscores ongoing Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian commercial targets.
Russia’s Defence Ministry, citing United Press International, said it shot down 709 drones overnight over 11 regions, added that Ukrainian forces have targeted Ozon and its competitor Wildberries in recent months, including four Ozon warehouses in Krasnodar, Dagestan, Stavropol and Adygea and 15 Wildberries hubs, a note that the Kyiv Independent also carried.
