Melania Trump has officially taken a stand against Hunter Biden, threatening legal action exceeding $1 billion after he suggested that Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump. Her legal representatives have deemed Biden's claims as "false, defamatory, and inflammatory," following comments he made in a recent interview where he criticized his father's former connections to Epstein. The letter from her attorneys demands a retraction and an apology, citing significant damage to Melania's reputation and finances.

Biden, who is the son of former President Joe Biden, alleged that undisclosed documents concerning Epstein would "implicate" Donald Trump. He claimed, "Epstein introduced Melania to Trump - the connections are so wide and deep." However, in Trump's defense, he has previously mentioned that he distanced himself from Epstein over a professional grievance back in the early 2000s.

The legal letter calls out Biden's history of leveraging the names of influential individuals, accusing him of repeating such claims for self-aggrandizement. Remarks from journalist Michael Wolff, who was partly responsible for the claims, have also been targeted, given that the Daily Beast, which originally published the article citing Wolff, later retracted it after receiving legal admonishments from Melania's legal team.

There is no concrete evidence linking Epstein to the introduction of Melania and Donald Trump, who met at a party in 1998 hosted by a modeling agency founder. Following recent calls for the release of Epstein's files related to a criminal investigation, Melania Trump’s legal battle further intensifies the scrutiny on the controversial connections between the Trump family and Epstein, who died in prison under dubious circumstances in 2019.
