New Revelations of Trump's Flights on Epstein's Private Jet Emerge
Davidoff Studios/Getty ImagesUS President Donald Trump was listed as a passenger on the private jet of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein eight times between 1993 and 1996, according to a newly released email by the US Department of Justice (DOJ). The assistant US attorney mentioned in the email that Trump traveled on Epstein's private jet many more times than previously reported.
Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein. In a post from 2024, he stated, 'I was never on Epstein's Plane' and attributed sensational claims to unfounded sources.
This latest discovery is part of over 30,000 pages of documents that the DOJ has been required to release in full. The email details Trump's list of passengers, including a notable flight where Trump and Epstein were the only two listed. Trump has described Epstein as a former friend, but has claimed they fell out around 2004.
While speaking to the media, the DOJ clarified that while Trump's name appears in the records, it does not indicate any criminal activity on his part. The emails also state that some claims against Trump are sensationalized and lacking in credible evidence.
The content of the email can be traced back to January 7, 2020, highlighting the legal obligations the DOJ is fulfilling in releasing these documents. However, several details, including flight patterns and the presence of individuals tied to the Epstein case, remain unclear as redactions are present in many files.
As the ongoing investigation expects to unveil more sensitive documents, the DOJ has faced scrutiny for delays in the full disclosure of materials related to Epstein. This investigation surrounds not only Epstein but also his accomplices, such as Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her involvement in sex trafficking.
