A distinguished member of the Oneida Nation from the Six Nations Reserve in southern Ontario, Greene's influence extended beyond his acting roles. He held a diverse array of jobs throughout his early life, including a draftsman and civil technologist, before embarking on a acting career in the UK in the 1970s.
