In brief

Yemen’s Houthi movement announced it has intelligence on a Saudi military command network operating across Yemen and vowed to target it. The claim surfaced amid multiple Houthi‑related attacks on Saudi oil sites reported by Iran International and Royal News, though verification remains pending and Saudi Arabia has not issued a response.

Yemen’s Houthi movement said on Friday that it has gathered intelligence on a Saudi military command network that covers operations across Yemeni government-held territories and warned it would target the network. The statement, issued by Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea on the social‑media platform X, was reported by Xinhua on Oct. 30, 2026.

According to Sarea, the network includes command and support structures and operational bases in Aden, the oil‑rich provinces of Shabwa, Marib and Hadramout, the eastern province of Al‑Mahrah and the Socotra archipelago. He said the Houthis possessed information on the "operational management and field military command" of Saudi forces in Yemen.

"We will continue to pursue and target Saudi military personnel and facilities," Sarea said.

He also warned civilians in the affected areas to stay away from the network’s sites. While the claim could not be independently verified, Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s internationally recognized government did not respond to inquiries.

The announcement comes as fighting between the Houthis and government forces backed by the Saudi‑led coalition has intensified, with both sides mounting airstrikes and missile attacks across the country.

In unrelated reports, Iran International said the Houthis have carried out six attacks on Saudi oil sites and vowed to continue military operations “deep inside Saudi” until the blockade of Yemen ends.

Royal News also reported that the Houthis claimed responsibility for attacks on Saudi oil infrastructure, naming the Ras Tanura refinery and Aramco facilities in Abqaiq and Rabigh as targets.

Verification of the Houthi claims and the alleged network remains pending, and the situation continues to evolve amid the broader Saudi‑Yemen conflict.
