On 1 November 2026, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) supplied more than 1.3 million liters of safe drinking water to displaced and affected communities in Yemen’s Lahj, Taiz and Aden governorates, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
This emergency response effort covered 58 distribution points across the three governorates, providing immediate access to potable water for host communities and displaced families.
According to SPA, KSrelief distributed 417,480 liters of water to five camps in Lahj Governorate and an additional 336,675 liters to the districts of Tuban and Al‑Misaymir within the same governorate. A further 313,200 liters went to Al‑Mudhaffar District in Taiz Governorate, while 255,000 liters were delivered to Al‑Firdous Camp in Al‑Buraiqah District, Aden.
KSrelief’s operation is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian projects aimed at ensuring safe drinking water for displaced people amid the country’s humanitarian crisis. The initiative seeks to alleviate suffering and improve living conditions for Yemeni host communities and refugees.
These deliveries are framed as a critical component of the broader emergency response, reinforcing the importance of reliable water access during the crisis.
