The Islamic Development Bank Group attended the 42nd Ministerial Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) in Istanbul from October 31 to November 3, 2026.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the group presented official reports on the implementation of major joint programs, specifically the performance of the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development and the Special Program for Development of Africa.
The Saudi Press Agency noted that the IsDB’s participation was aligned with specific mandates within COMCEC’s agenda and that its flexible financing solutions and credit initiatives aim to mitigate trade risks and foster sustainable economic growth among member states.
The session, chaired by Turkey, brought together delegations from all OIC member states and institutions of joint Islamic action.
