Many groups that supported Donald Trump during his return to the presidency are expressing dissatisfaction with his performance, according to a new AP-NORC poll. The survey indicates that approval ratings have notably declined among key demographics such as Hispanic adults, younger voters, and men, revealing growing discontent as Trump approaches the one-year mark of his administration. The poll shows Trump's economic approval has slipped as the war in Iran impacts oil prices, with Hispanic adults reporting a 16 percentage point drop in approval since 2025.

Among younger voters, there has been a notable decrease in Trump's support, particularly among women under 45, where only 20% approve of his economic handling. Meanwhile, disapproval is also rising within Trump's male voter base, falling from 47% to 38%. Despite these trends, Trump's core MAGA supporters remain largely loyal, with around 90% approving of his performance.
