Iran has launched fresh attacks on U.S. military bases in neighbouring Gulf states, while Washington continued to strike overnight.
Tehran said it had struck targets in Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain, as a sixth day of renewed hostilities strained their preliminary deal to end the war.
The U.S. military said it inflicted a seven‑hour wave of strikes in multiple locations to "degrade Iran's ability to threaten innocent mariners" in the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump warned that Iran would be hit if negotiations stalled, threatening to target its energy infrastructure. Iranian negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf refused to agree to a deal that did not benefit the country.
The latest Iranian attacks hit U.S. command centres, air‑defence sites and coastal surveillance facilities, including Bandar Abbas and Greater Tunb Island. The U.S. also disabled an unladen, Curacao‑flagged oil tanker attempting to reach a blockaded Iranian port.
Kuwait intercepted drones and Bahrain’s interior ministry urged citizens to stay calm and seek safety following Iranian strikes on its territory.
