Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been arrested in the U.S. after British authorities announced a range of new criminal charges.
The UK Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said Andrew Tate would face seven additional counts of rape and charges related to alleged sex‑trafficking and child pornography offences.
Tristan Tate is charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of organising or facilitating sexual‑exploitation trafficking.
The alleged offences cover a period from July 2010 to August 2017. The CPS said the new evidence from Bedfordshire Police brings the total number of alleged victims to seven.
U.S. Marshals confirmed that the brothers were taken into custody, and a U.S. Department of Justice spokesperson said the arrests were pursuant to extradition proceedings. The CPS will seek extradition to the UK.
In May 2025 prosecutors announced 21 charges that the brothers will ultimately face in the UK, covering offences between 2012 and 2016.
