Bollywood star Tiger Shroff was shot at in Mumbai but emerged unhurt, according to Indian police investigating the incident.

The 36‑year‑old was targeted Sunday evening as he left a football club in the Juhu suburb. Video footage shows at least two gunmen firing multiple shots at the front passenger seat while the car was slowly moving past a crowd.

Police confirmed no gunshot wounds were sustained by Shroff, though his driver and another individual were reported injured. The attack has raised concerns about the security of celebrities and public figures in India.

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the actor after the shooting and urged that such intimidation be met with firm action. "These attempts to intimidate people will not be tolerated," Shinde said.

The incident follows a string of attacks on high‑profile personalities, including a 2024 gun attack on Salman Khan’s home and the killing of politician Baba Siddique in Mumbai.

Tiger Shroff, son of actors Madhuri Dixit and Akshay Kumar, debuted in 2014 with Heropanti and has starred in numerous releases. He is also a football enthusiast, playing for the club Mumbai FC.
