Vice‑President Ousted from CCM

Tanzania’s vice‑president, Emmanuel Nchimbi, was expelled from the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party for indiscipline after he announced his resignation. The expulsion came during an extraordinary party meeting chaired by President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
