More than 20 women have emerged with allegations against Zou Zhenhao, a Chinese student previously convicted of drugging and raping 10 women across Britain and China. Following his conviction last month in London, the Metropolitan Police reported that 23 women, both in Britain and abroad, contacted them with new claims. Zou, a 28-year-old Ph.D. student at University College London from 2019 to 2024, reportedly lured women through dating apps and targeted Chinese students.
On March 5, a jury found him guilty of multiple counts related to rape and sexual assault. The court learned that Zou used drugs to incapacitate his victims and that many of them may not fully comprehend what occurred to them due to the drugging. While two women provided testimony during the trial, eight others remain unidentified, prompting authorities to encourage additional victims to step forward. Police have suggested Zou may be connected to over 50 cases, as evidenced by videos found on his devices, which are under investigation.
