In a harrowing development, the remains of Zamil Limon, a Bangladeshi doctoral student who went missing along with his girlfriend, Nahida Bristy, from the University of South Florida, were discovered on a bridge over Tampa Bay. The news, confirmed by local authorities, has shocked the community as the search for Bristy continues.

Authorities found Limon’s body on the Howard Frankland Bridge, and his roommate, Hisham Saleh Abugharbeih, was taken into custody on charges including unlawfully moving a dead body and tampering with evidence. While Limon’s body has been located, Bristy remains missing, leading to an ongoing search effort with public assistance being urged by law enforcement officials.

Hillsborough County officials stated that Abugharbeih had barricaded himself in his home during the investigation and had a history of previous arrests, including battery and domestic violence incidents. The unsettling pattern raises concerns as the investigation unfolds. Both Limon and Bristy, both 27, were reportedly in a serious relationship and were contemplating marriage.

Sheriff Chad Chronister expressed condolences to the families involved and emphasized the commitment of law enforcement to uncover the truth surrounding the case as detectives work swiftly through the evidence.
