Good Good, a prominent golf content creator and brand, has issued an apology after a controversial advertisement for a new Callaway driver went viral.

The 2.13 million‑subscribed channel, which also sponsors a PGA Tour event, released a clip that depicted co‑founder Garrett Clark rushing toward professional golfer Alexis Miestowski and pushing her to the ground while yelling, “Do not touch my new driver.” The clip drew immediate criticism for trivialising violence against women.

Good Good removed the video and issued a statement on X: “We posted a video that does not align with our values. We have taken it down and sincerely apologise.” They reaffirmed their commitment to promoting inclusivity in the sport.

Callaway, which has worked with Good Good since 2023, expressed disappointment but welcomed the removal, stating they hope to work together “to ensure a more inclusive space in golf.”

The golf channel, founded in 2020, has built a large audience through a mix of competitive challenges, TV‑style shows and product adverts. Meanwhile, the PGA Tour, which has been partnering with social media creators, announced the Good Good Championship in Texas for November, citing golf’s potential to bring people together in a welcoming environment.

The incident highlights the increasing responsibility of content creators in shaping brand narratives and the industry’s sensitivity to depictions of violence and sexism.
