In a shocking case, Jacky Jhaj, a 39-year-old British man on the sex offenders register, has been charged with multiple offenses following his attempt to orchestrate a "mock wedding" to a nine-year-old girl at Disneyland Paris. The ceremony was planned for Saturday, and Jhaj was arrested after an actor hired to portray the girl's father reported suspicions to the police.

Jhaj's problematic history includes a conviction from 2016 for engaging in sexual activity with two 15-year-olds. His recent activities had raised red flags, culminating in this disturbing incident at one of the world's most famous theme parks. Reports reveal that nearly 100 French extras had been contracted to participate in the façade, which was intended to be documented by Jhaj's filming crew.

According to investigations, Jhaj had previously exploited children in various productions, including a fake film premiere in London in 2023, where he hired as many as 600 children from casting agencies. Many participants were reportedly unaware of his past, leading to disturbing encounters where teenage girls were encouraged to act inappropriately toward him.

Details surrounding his recent arrest reveal he faced charges not only for the mock wedding but also for fraud, breach of trust, money laundering, and identity theft. Jhaj appeared in front of a judge in Meaux, where it was disclosed he had altered his appearance to avoid recognition during the mock wedding arrangements.

Since his prison release, Jhaj regularly staged elaborate events involving minors despite being subject to restrictions and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Filmmaking attempts showed he amassed millions of views on content uploaded to YouTube, including a video of one of his young victims from the previous convictions. Only after the BBC intervened were some of the troubling videos removed from the platform.

As inquiries continue into the financing of these extravagant productions, French prosecutors acknowledged that while the young girl was not coerced, Disneyland Paris had been misled during the booking process by the use of false identification. The Metropolitan Police in the UK are working closely with French authorities, highlighting the ongoing concerns surrounding Jhaj's activities and his utmost disregard for legal boundaries concerning his criminal past.
