Valentino Garavani, renowned for his luxurious designs and influence on the fashion world, has passed away at the age of 93. His passing was confirmed by the Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti Foundation, which stated he died peacefully surrounded by family. A public viewing will be held at Piazza Mignanelli, followed by a funeral service at the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and Martyrs.

In a statement posted on Instagram, the Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti Foundation shared, He passed away peacefully in his Roman home, surrounded by the love of his family.

The foundation announced that Valentino will lie in state at Piazza Mignanelli from January 21 to 22.

The funeral service will be held on January 23 at the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and Martyrs.
