Friends of Big Bear Valley, a nonprofit operating the live‑cam, reports that Jackie’s packed cell volume fell to 13% early this week, down from 17% last week, raising alarms among animal‑care experts.
The eagle is currently under veterinary oversight at the Ojai Raptor Center in California. While her anemia showed a slight improvement last week, the rapid drop in volume signals a severe health crisis.
