The incident occurred on July 8, just two days prior to her planned four-night engagement in the city for the Cowboy Carter tour. According to local authorities, hard drives containing unreleased songs, detailed plans for shows, and essential set-lists were among the stolen items.

The vehicle in question belonged to one of Beyoncé's choreographers, Christopher Grant, and dancer Diandre Blue. They reported that after parking their rented Black Jeep Wagoneer, they stepped away to a nearby food hall. Upon returning, they discovered the rear window had been smashed, and two suitcases containing sensitive information were missing, as detailed in the police report.

The report highlighted that the stolen drives included watermarked music tracks and footage plans for both past and upcoming shows. Alongside these, other alarmingly personal items like a laptop, high-end clothing, and Apple AirPods were also reported stolen. Investigators are utilizing tracking information from the laptop and headphones to trace the whereabouts of the missing items. Additionally, authorities have worked to gather fingerprints from the vehicle, uncovering two faint prints during their investigation, although the fate of the stolen goods remains unknown.

This unfortunate event transpired while Beyoncé is actively engaged in her tour, having kicked off performances in Atlanta on July 10, with the final show scheduled for Monday night. Notably, her husband, rapper Jay Z, made a surprise appearance during one of the performances, adding another layer of excitement to the event.
